In 2024, we met Kate, a young woman who was carrying the weight of both a past abortion and a current unexpected pregnancy. Though her abortion had happened two years prior, she was buried by shame and guilt from the decision she had made alone.
On the day she came into My Life Clinic and sat in front of our nurse, she explained that she felt stuck in the impossible decision of either adding to her guilt with another abortion or raising a child totally alone.
Finding herself in a situation that felt painfully familiar, she feared she was trapped in the same impossible choice. But this time, it was different. She wasn't alone. Kate found safety, grace, and hope at My Life Clinic. She began healing from the abortion she’d never processed, and she chose a new life for both herself and her baby girl!
